Kan Yasuda’s open-air sculpture exhibition “OLTRE LA FORMA” is on view in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, from September 23 to November 25, 2026.
Seven monumental sculptures in white Carrara marble and bronze are installed along the waterfront of PORTO STORICO DI CAGLIARI (the historic port of Cagliari), extending across the Via Roma dock, Delogu dock, and Dogana pier.
Under the porticoes of Via Roma, in front of the Regional Council, works by Costantino Nivola, the Sardinian-born sculptor whom Kan Yasuda knew personally, are also installed. This exhibition creates a landscape in which the sea and city of Cagliari, together with the works of these two sculptors, resonate with one another.
The exhibition is supported by Fondazione di Sardegna, organized as part of the ArtiJanus/ArtiJanas project, and realized in collaboration with the Municipality of Cagliari and the Port System Authority of the Sardinian Sea.
